The Mars-Jupiter Cycle or Looking back from 2009
#216 Updated last week's harmonic analysis on the US Indices
Introduction
On February 18th, 2024, I shared a long-term outlook on price and time based on the 15-year cycle approaching a high by October-November 2024 in the S&P 500.
Looking back from 2009, I used Jupiter and Mars’s planetary aspects in the analysis to project a future high. At the low of March 6th, 2009, Mars (Action) and Jupiter (abundance/exaggerating) were conjunct (at the same degree) from a Helio perspective. More importantly, time (longitude) and price were balanced simultaneously, as you can see in the overview below. A price of 666.79 was on a 306/307-degree angle. That was the trigger for the market to turn.
We are approaching a Mars-Jupiter helio conjunction again. Although the Mars-Jupiter helio conjunction is an irregular cycle, it did turn around important highs and lows like those conjunctions of May 1982, March 2000, and March 2009. Note the 18- and 9-year time interval in between. We are now approaching the 7th return of this cycle since the low in 2009, which is also close to a 180-degree move in Saturn Helio. Will the market turn around these cycle moves, and what will be a possible price target using the same methodology for converting time (longitude) to price?
